On September 6 and 7, the Chief of the Naval Staff for the Marine Nationale, Admiral Pierre Vandier, and his German counterpart, Vice Admiral Jan C. Kaack, visited Brest for two days of exchanges on common interests across the seas. The meeting reaffirmed the willingness of the two naval partners to cooperate and to share their respective views on the current situation in areas of strategic interest.

During this meeting, the two admirals visited the MICA Center. Thus, the challenges of cooperation between allied navies, but also between the military and the maritime industry, were discussed in the field of maritime security.
