Last week, following our intent to develop maritime security awareness and culture through the yachting industry, MICA Center signed a Voluntary Naval Cooperation (VNC) agreement with the company Capt’n Boat.
Capt’n Boat is the platform connecting boat owners and yachting professionals with qualified and insured seamen.

The platform allows :

• boat owners and boating professionals to easily find (validated) skippers for convoying, training and cruising, and thus save time and energy;
• professional seamen to easily find missions corresponding to their diplomas, with a pro skipper liability included for each mission and a multirisks insurance for convoying
• to benefit from an international influence.

By joining our VNC community, Capt’n boat will help disseminating information and best management practices through this community and hopefully reduce the risk of security incidents in some unsecure maritime areas.
