On October 10, 2023, the MICA Center has been honored to welcome the Admiral Skoog Haslum, Chief of Staff of the Swedish Navy.

After a visit of FREMM Auvergne and a tour of the mine warfare facilities, the Swedish authorities headed towards the Maritime Prefecture to discover the MICA Center and the Atlantic Operational Center.

This visit was a great an opportunity for our teams to share the work of MICA units, at the French (Voluntary Naval Cooperation), bilateral (FR/UK MDAT GoG) and multinational levels, including a look back at the CONAVEX 23 exercise, which took place from 2 to 6 October 2023.

During the discussions, the question of maritime security in times of crisis has been a major concern.
